Updating a previous item, Bucs quarterback Jeff Garcia suffered a strained calf, according to PewterReport.com. "We just have to get the information. [Garcia] might not miss anytime at all. Right now, I would say until we evaluate it further, I wouldn't say much at all," said head coach Jon Gruden.The Bucs don't seem to be worried about it, with many teams now about a week into camp, this is about the time guys will go down with strains and pulls.

The Tampa Tribune reports that Jeff Garcia left a non-contact drill suddenly with an apparent leg injury. The injury appeared to be in his calf and, although limping noticeably, walked into the locker room under his own power after being carted off the field.The severity of the injury is unknown but Luke McCown, Chris Simms or Brian Griese will likely battle for work with the first team until he can return. However, a serious injury to Garcia could cause Tampa to amp up its bid for Brett Favre.
