The NFL has approved Jason Brown's contract with the Rams, according to Scout.com. Brown inked a five-year deal worth $37.5MM, with $20MM guaranteed, on the first day of free agency, but the league had initially disapproved of the contract because of a problem involving a $2.3MM buyback clause.
Our View: Brown should prove to be a solid upgrade at center for the Rams over Brett Romberg, and he could also be used at guard if needed.
