Bills WR James Hardy says he's on schedule to participate during the second half of summer training camp. Hardy is two months removed from surgery to repair a torn ACL. "They said a couple of weeks into training camp I'll be able to participate," said Hardy, who has been rehabbing in the pool for the most part. "I'll be able to practice toward the end and be able to play in the last preseason game. That's what I've been told."

Bills wideout James Hardy is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn ACL, and he believes he'll be ready to start practicing before the end of training camp, according to BuffaloBills.com.
Our View: Hardy was a big disappointment last year as the team's second-round draft pick, as he caught just nine passes for 87 yards. With this injury and the addition of Terrell Owens, Hardy doesn't figure to be a big part of the Bills' offense, which will never be confused as a wide-open system.
