The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that new addition LaJuan Ramsey got the majority of the work with the starters in Wednesday's practice.
Our View: Ramsey looks like the favorite to replace DL Gary Gibson, who is out for the season with a foot injury. The Rams are a nightmare on defense and are thin up the middle with Adam Carriker out for the season, so don't expect Ramsey to make a huge difference.

The St. Louis Rams placed Gibson on injured reserve with a broken ankle Monday, meaning he will miss the remainder of the season.
Impacts: Gibson was hurt during Sunday's 38-10 loss to Minnesota and will have surgery. Gibson, who had 12 tackles this season, was replaced on the roster by wide receiver Tim Carter Monday.

Rams placed DT Gary Gibson on injured reserve with a broken ankle/foot, ending his season. St. Louis will likely now see what third-round rookie Dorell Scott can do as a starter. Gibson finishes with 11 tackles and zero sacks in five starts.
