ESPN.com\'s John Clayton reports Jacksonville Jaguars RB Fred Taylor would like to return to the Jaguars in 2009. In order to return, however, Taylor will likely need to take a pay cut. He is scheduled to make $6 million next season and it appears the team is ready to run with RB Maurice Jones-Drew as their starter. Taylor will be 33 next season.

Status: Out. Out indefinitely
Fred Taylor (ankle surgery) still has not resumed practicing. It's impressive that the Pats have been able to keep him off injured reserve so long. Taylor hasn't played or practiced in seven weeks and remains without a timetable for return. He's deservedly on most fantasy waiver wires.
