Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams rookie WR Donnie Avery (pelvis) cracked a bone in his pelvic area Monday, July 28. However, he could still return to the field sooner than later. Head coach Scott Linehan said it is not a serious injury but it is an unusual one. He noted it comes down to how much pain Avery can tolerate. He was running during practice Tuesday, July 29, without pads.
