The New Orleans Times-Picayune is confirming on their website that Saints defensive linemen Charles Grant and Will Smith have been suspended for the first four games of the regular season due to their failed appeal to the NFL in their StarCaps case.
Our View: These StarCaps cases have kind of flown under the radar as of late, but both Grant and Smith will be gone for the first four games. The Saints will be hurting without them, but they should provide a big boost when they do return.
