The arraignment for Saints defensive end Charles Grant on a charge of involuntary manslaughter has been postponed, according to ProFootballTalk.com. The decision is still being made whether or not to try all eight defendants together or separately.Grant and individuals he was with got into a fight where a pregnant woman was shot, killing her and the child. Grant was stabbed in the neck during the melee.

Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints DE Charles Grant was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, Aug. 15, in Early County, Ga., for the arraignment in his involuntary manslaughter case, but the hearing has been continued. GrantÂ’s attorney said the arraignment will likely be rescheduled for later this month, and it will be up to the judge to decide if Grant will need to be present.
