Donald Brown missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Colts' official website. He is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Our View: The rookie running back will be a game-time call for Sunday's outing against the 49ers. Chad Simpson would likely serve as the primary backup behind Joseph Addai if Brown is unable to go.

Colts RB Chad Simpson suffered a head injury in the second quarter Sunday and is questionable to return. The Colts are thin at running back with both Simpson and Joseph Addai (finger) on the sidelines. Donald Brown must step up against the Patriots.
