News: Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco is ready for a rebound year. Last year, with QB Carson Palmer out with an elbow injury, Ochocinco -- then just plain old Chad Johnson -- groused. He caught only 53 passes for 540 yards last season, after failing to force a trade. He skipped most of the voluntary workouts in the offseason, but showed up last week with a smile and an upbeat demeanor. "I'm back," Ochocinco said. "I can't explain it any other way. Before last year, this is how I was. I was good. I was happy. I'm good. It's going to be a great year. We're going to the playoffs. We're going, man." Palmer doesn't mind the excess enthusiasm. "I hope it lasts all the way through Super Bowl weekend," Palmer said. "And I think he is sincere. He's excited to be here. He's excited to be back playing football at a high level, at the level he used to play at when he was leading the AFC in yards. He's in way better shape than I've seen him in a couple of years." Ochocinco spoke about his relationship with Palmer before appearing on "Joe Buck Live" on HBO on Monday night. Palmer had publicly criticized Ochocinco for not participating in offseason workouts. News: The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Bengals QB Carson Palmer went on a national radio show and said that his team needs WR Chad Ochocinco if they're going to win this season. "He's a damn good receiver - that's obvious, everybody knows that - but the guys that are working here and busting their butt here deserve a shot," Palmer said. "When he shows up he'll show up and hopefully he's in great shape and he's ready to play. But I never once said anything about not wanting him here and not needing him. He's a Pro Bowl receiver. He's put up a ton of yards. He's extremely dangerous to cover. We would love him when he comes here, but he's not here right now." This season is pretty much all on your back and that of Cedric Benson....You are the Best Player that we have and the glue atleast for me that is holding the Bengals together. As you already know we need a winning season. Ok big deal we lost one regular season game to Denver but the rest of the season is still a head of us...If anyone on the team that can get us winning games it is YOU......
