Impacts: Johnson should start getting more receptions now that Roy Williams has been traded to Dallas. Of course, that all depends if quarterback Dan Orlovsky can get him the ball.

The Lions tried to get Calvin Johnson the ball more in Sunday's loss to Washington, according to the Detroit Free Press. He caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown and coach Rod Marinelli said, "We were very conscious trying to move him around and get him away from certain coverages. We did some things with him, hopefully to try to get him the ball and try to create some matchups for him."Johnson only registered 29 receptions over seven games, but is averaging 20.3 yards and has scored five touchdowns.

In his first game since the trade of teammate Roy Williams to Dallas, Johnson had a career-high 154 yards on two receptions. Most of those yards came on a 96-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. It was the fourth longest touchdown in Lions history and the longest since 1988.

Impacts: Johnson had a pair of 100-yard performances to start this season. Without Williams on the field, the second-year receiver from Georgia Tech is the go-to guy. Johnson is sixth in the NFL with 531 yards and has averaged 21.2 yards per reception. He has touchdown catches in each of his last two games.

Calvin Johnson racked up 154 receiving yards Sunday against the Texans, despite only being targeted four times, according to the Detroit Free Press. He gained most of his yardage on two long receptions, one covering 58 yards on a hail mary, and the other going 96 yards for a touchdown.Coach Rod Marinelli said more plays were called for Johnson, but sometimes there were coverage and protection issues, and admitted that the team needs to get him the ball more. Calvin Johnson caught seven passes for 161 yards and one touchdown in Week 11 against the Browns. Johnson narrowly missed a touchdown catch in the second quarter and came down hard on the play, limping off the field. He was in and out of the game quite a bit after that while clearly in pain, yet still managed to get completely behind the defense for a 75-yard touchdown and topped 100 yards for just the second time this season.
