Detroit Lions rookie QB Matthew Stafford said he has texted with WR Calvin Johnson a little bit here and there throughout the NFL Draft process. \"There\'s going to be plenty of time to spend with these guys and meet them,\" Stafford said of his teammates. He reiterated that he just wants to do everything he can to help the team and be ready to play when his number is called. \"I just want to be ready,\" he said. \"When I step in there I want to contribute and make plays and help this team win. That\'s what I\'m going to be working for.\"
