Also out, as expected, are wide receiver Kevin Curtis (WR, DB) and running back Brian Westbrook. Reid said he was not ready to put Curtis, who has been bothered all season with a knee injury, on Injured Reserve. Westbrook will be out at least until he undergoes another neurological examination, which could be two weeks away. (philadelphiaeagles.com)
FF Today's Take: Other outlets suggest that Westbrook's exam won't take place for another three weeks. It's highly unlikely he would return to the field right away even if the doctors clear him to resume physical activity. While it is not advisable to drop him in fantasy leagues yet, the chances of Westbrook being useful before Week 16 are slim at best. LeSean McCoy steps into a feature-back role again and makes for a strong RB2 going forward.

According to two neurological specialists, Brian Westbrook should make a "full recovery" from his pair of concussions. Doctors say his symptoms "improved significantly" in the last three days, and that Westbrook produced all favorable test results. "We are very encouraged by Brian's progress, we believe that he has an excellent prognosis," the docs added. Westbrook will get another checkup in 2-3 weeks after being put on a "comprehensive rehab plan," although the Eagles were advised to take a "conservative" approach with their 30-year-old tailback. It appears Westbrook's career isn't over, but he's still no sure bet to return in 2009.
