Patriots | Several not spotted during morning practice Thursday
Mike McDermott, of The Providence Journal, reports New England Patriots DL Ty Warren (groin, knee), OL Richard Ohrnberger (undisclosed), LB Shawn Crable (undisclosed), OT Mark LeVoir (undisclosed) and DL Darryl Richard (undisclosed) were not spotted during morning practice Thursday, July 30, but they are all currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Also not spotted during practice were WR Brandon Tate (knee), CB Shawn Springs (undisclosed), LB Tyrone McKenzie (knee) and DE Jarvis Green (undisclosed). Springs and Tate are on the Non-Football Injury list.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Patriots placed WR/KR Brandon Tate (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season. Tate was just activated from the PUP in Week 7, but clearly had a setback with his surgically repaired knee. Tate tore his ACL and MCL last October while playing for North Carolina. Sam Aiken now has the No. 3 receiver duties all to himself with Julian Edelman (arm) likely out and there has to be long-term concerns about Tate.
