Marshall had seven catches for 77 yards and a touchdown, putting together a productive day even as the Broncos suffered a stunning 33-19 defeat at Kansas City.Impacts: It wasn't quite the same level of production as his first two games, but those kinds of days simply don't happen every week. Marshall remains among the top fantasy receivers in the league, and is a must-play regardless of matchup.

News: Denver WR Brandon Marshall had far and away his worst game of 2008 on Sunday in a loss to the Chiefs. The good news for his owners: He still caught seven passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Of course, the 11-yard loss with a lost fumble he had on a running play in the first half hurts. [...]

Brandon Marshall caught seven passes for 77 yards and a TD in Week 4 against the Chiefs. News: So far, Brandon Marshall is fulfilling his vow to leave both tacklers and trouble behind. After an offseason filled with headlines over domestic disputes, a freak accident that required emergency arm surgery, criticism from his quarterback and visits to the commissioner's office, the Broncos' star WR is making his noise on the football field. And making nice off it. Sitting out the opener for violating the league's code of conduct might just have been the best thing to happen to him. He spent his forced hiatus reflecting on his career and volunteering at an after-school, anti-gang program in Denver. Marshall had his three-game suspension reduced to one game and two paychecks on appeal, and he returned with a vengeance, showing his boast to "break all the receiving records" this season might not be as farfetched as it sounds. It's early, but at his current pace, Marshall would amass 180 receptions for 2,407 yards and 15 TDs. That's 37 more catches and 559 more yards than any receiver in NFL history. [...]

Marshall led the Broncos with six receptions for 155 yards and
Marshall led the Broncos with six receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown but could have had 79 more yards and two more TDs if not for his less-than-fancy footwork: He stepped out of bounds at midfield on what would have been a third-quarter score, then failed to avoid a shoestring tackle on what would have been a game-clinching fourth-quarter TD. Denver still beat the Saints, though, 34-32 on Sunday, to remain undefeated.Impacts: Marshall has 24 catches for 323 yards and two scores, and he's second in the NFL in receiving yards despite having played in only two games.

Brandon Marshall continues to shine as one of fantasy's elite wide receivers. On Sunday, he caught six Jay Cutler passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. The Saints, at last check, did not file any charges against Marshall for the abuse.New Orleans' secondary was pretty banged up entering the game so many expected Marshall to catch more than just six balls, especially after last week's total of 18. However, he made each catch count as he averaged 25.8 yards per reception. Expect Marshall to continue his elite pace. Earlier in the week, he talked about catching 140 passes this season, and who are we to doubt him?
