Alex Stepanovich was carted off the field during practice Monday due to an apparent back injury, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coach Mike Smith said, "According to trainer Ronnie Medlin they've got him iced up right now. We'll get a chance to see how he's doing."Stepanovich was working as a backup. The severity of his injury is yet to be determined.
