Adam Vinatieri has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Baltimore, according to the Colts' official website.
Our View: Vinatieri will be missing his fifth straight game while still recovering from his knee ailment. Matt Stover will remain the Colts' placekicker, and will be facing his former team.

Colts president Bill Polian expects K Adam Vinatieri (knee surgery) to return "probably around Thanksgiving." "But Mother Nature has a way of deciding with each individual how far from the average they stray," Polian allowed. "It's not a predetermined date. That's a target." Matt Stover is 6-of-6 on FGs since replacing Vinatieri three weeks ago, so it's no lock that the Colts' incumbent will get his job back.
