Adam Carriker is set to return to practice "full go" on Friday for the first time since injuring his ankle on August 7, according to CBS Sports.
Our View: Carriker struggled with injuries last season after a strong rookie campaign in 2007, but he still managed to get into 15 games. He's not a good pick in IDP leagues right now, but he is still someone capable of breaking out, and shouldn't be totally ignored in 2009.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Rams DT Adam Carriker, who is on injured reserve, will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a torn muscle in his right shoulder. Carriker's rehab time is about four months. It's his second shoulder operation in the last 20 months, but he should be good to go for next year's camp.
