According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Rams' defensive lineman Adam Carriker will play exclusively at left defensive tackle this season. Carriker has shuffled between nose tackle and left DT over the past few seasons.
Our View: The Rams are expecting a big season from Carriker this season, and you have to believe he will be much better under the defensive mastermind Spagnuolo. Some consistency at one position should help Carriker, but don't expect him to be an All-Pro anytime soon.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Rams DT Adam Carriker, who is on injured reserve, will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a torn muscle in his right shoulder. Carriker's rehab time is about four months. It's his second shoulder operation in the last 20 months, but he should be good to go for next year's camp.
