Mike Garafolo, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants CB Aaron Ross lined up at safety for much of the team’s Week 11 game, but he claims he hasn’t switched positions. Ross said, “I’m still a corner, just helping out at safety.” Ross will likely return to his starting position once he regains his stamina, but he was deep at safety for most of the plays in the nickel and dime packages Week 11.

Status: Questionable. Return playoffs?
Giants CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) will return to game action Sunday and play when the team is in their nickel defense. When the Giants send in their nickel package, Ross will line up on the outside with Terrell Thomas covering the slot. Thomas will likely draw the start opposite Corey Webster until Ross proves he's healthy and gets back up to game speed.
