Packers | Rodgers plays well Week 11
The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers went 32-for-45 for 344 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11.
Jennings lights up 49ers
Greg Jennings lit up the 49ers in today's 30-24 win at Lambeau Field, as he hauled in five catches for 126 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown covered 64 yards on a strike from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Our View: Jennings finally broke loose for fantasy owners, as he topped 100 yards for the first time since Week 3 (at St. Louis). The stud receiver could be headed for another strong performance on Thanksgiving Day with a very favorable matchup at Detroit, who field one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.
Rodgers takes care of business
Aaron Rodgers took care of business in Sunday's 30-24 win over the 49ers at Lambeau Field, as he completed 32-of-45 passes for 344 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed seven times for 13 yards.
Our View: Rodgers bounced back well following a disappointing outing against Dallas in Week 10. He has now thrown multiple touchdowns in seven of his last eight games.

49ers pay for Rodgers draft snub, GB wins 30-24
Aaron Rodgers made San Francisco pay for a draft-day snub in 2005 and the Green Bay Packers survived a second-half surge by the 49ers for a 30-24 victory Sunday.
TE Finley likely to play
Jermichael Finley (knee) is expected to play this Sunday, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.
Our View: Finley sounds like he's finally returning after missing three straight games. He hasn't been a frequent target of Aaron Rodgers this season, and that isn't likely to change in a game where he will no doubt be rusty.

Rodgers threw for 189 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another
Rodgers threw for 189 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score to help the Packers beat Dallas 17-7 on Sunday.
Impacts: Rodgers was sacked four more times, but he continues to be one of the most consistent fantasy QBs around. He has accounted for multiple touchdowns in seven straight games and he ranks ninth in the NFL in passing yards. He has an inviting matchup this week against San Francisco's 29th-ranked pass defense.
Rodgers gets job done for Green Bay
Aaron Rodgers got the job done in today's 17-7 win over the Cowboys at Lambeau Field, as he completed 25-of-36 passes for 189 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.
Our View: Rodgers led the Packers to a tough win, but did not do much to help fantasy owners. He had his six-game streak snapped of throwing multiple touchdown passes.
Packers | Rodgers solid in Week 10

Colledge sustains ankle injury
Daryn Colledge exited the game against Dallas in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
Our View: With Aaron Rodgers being sacked at an alarming rate, the Packers can ill afford to lose anymore offensive linemen. Rookie Evan Dietrich-Smith has replaced Colledge at left guard.
Romo Probably Gonna Have Some Fun Out There in Brett’s Honor
The Dallas Cowboys are in Green Bay this afternoon. Sadly, Tony Romo will be the only quarterback having a good old time with the pigskin. No, seriously, there is no way Aaron Rodgers is having any fun playing football. Rodgers probable for Week 10
According to the Dallas Morning News, Aaron Rodgers (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Our View: Rodgers has been dealing with the toe issue since last week, so there's no reason to expect that it would limit him in Sunday's game. He's currently the top ranked fantasy quarterback, so start him with confidence and expect him to produce quality numbers once again in Week 10.
Ware probable for Week 10
Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware (foot) has been ruled as probable for Sunday's game against the Packers, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Our View: Ware has been dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, but was able to play last week against the Eagles. There's no reason he wouldn't be able to take on the Packers on Sunday, and his presence makes the Dallas defense a nice fantasy play as Aaron Rodgers has been very susceptible to sacks this season.

Pack lose lineman for Week 10
Mark Tauscher (knee) is out for Week 10, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Greg A. Bedard.
Our View: Just what the Packers' embattled offensive line needed. Expect Aaron Rodgers to be under even more pressure than usual.
Lang could start at right tackle
Rookie offensive lineman T.J. Lang worked with the first team at practice on Thursday, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Lang could start this week if Allen Barbre and Mark Tauscher are both forced to miss.
Our View: The Packers have the worst O-line in football, so losing Tauscher and Barbre would be bad news. Lang is only a rookie, so it looks like Aaron Rodgers will continue to spend plenty of time on his back this week.
Packers | Rodgers practices Thursday

Rodgers practices in full
According to Tom Pelissero on Twitter, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) practiced in full on Thursday.
Our View: Rodgers dealt with the toe issue last week as well and still played effectively in the game against the Bucs. Expect him to do the same Sunday as the number-one ranked fantasy quarterback faces off against the Cowboys in Week 10.

Rodgers limited with foot injury
Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice on Wednesday while nursing his foot injury, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Tom Pelissero. Rodgers is expected to be fine for the team's Week 10 game.
Our View: Rodgers has been getting some time off over the last few weeks of practice, but there is no reason to think he won't play. He is coming off a tough outing against the Bucs, so look for the top fantasy QB to have a bounce-back week against the Cowboys.

Rodgers threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns for Green Bay, but also threw three interceptions and was sacked six times in the Packers' embarrassing 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Impacts: Rodgers entered Sunday as the league's top-rated passer but is fourth after a rough Sunday. He's far and away the league leader in sacks taken, and needs to learn to get rid of the ball faster, though some of the blame certainly belongs with his underachieving offensive line.

Packers | Rodgers throws three picks Week 9
The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was 17-for-35 for 266 yards with two touchdown passes and three interceptions Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also ran three times for 26 rushing yards with a touchdown in the game. He was also sacked six times in the game.
James Jones stands out for Packers
James Jones was a standout for the Packers in today's 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay, as he hauled in four receptions for a game-high 103 yards and a touchdown. His score covered 74 yards on a strike from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Our View: The third-year receiver topped 100 yards for the first time in 2009. He could see more targets following today's strong showing, but his fantasy value will remain limited as long as Greg Jennings and Donald Driver remain intact as the top options.
Rodgers off target in Tampa Bay
Aaron Rodgers was off target in Sunday's 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay, as he only completed 17-of-35 passes for 266 yards, with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed three times for 26 yards and a touchdown.
Our View: Rodgers threw three interceptions in a tough loss, but still managed to be productive for fantasy owners - especially in those few that don't penalize for mistakes. Rodgers has thrown multiple touchdown passes in six straight games, with a total of 14 over the span.

Spitz placed on IR
The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that the Packers have placed starting center Jason Spitz on injured reserve, ending his 2009 season. Spitz is dealing with a lower back injury.
Our View: This is awful news for a team that is already struggling mightily on the offensive line. He hadn't played since October 5, but this means the team won't be getting any help on the line any time soon. Aaron Rodgers better get used to being on his back, because there doesn't look like much relief in sight.
Packers | Rodgers practices Friday, will play Week 9
Pete Dougherty, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (foot, toe) practiced Friday, Nov. 6. He is listed as probable for Week 9 and will definitely play.
Rodgers hurting but should play
News: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers practiced Friday as he works his way into shape after spraining a foot and spraining a toe on his other foot last week. He missed practice earlier in the week but should be fine for Week 9 at Tampa Bay after taking his normal reps on Friday. He is probable for Week 9. "He did everything," head coach Mike McCarthy said of his quarterback. "He did the play-action, did the movements, the drop back. He took a full day's work. ... He's hurting, but I don't have any concerns." [...]

Driver back at practice
Donald Driver was a full participant in practice on Friday and appears ready to play this weekend against the Buccaneers, according to Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Our View: Driver should be a fine play this weekend. He has been Aaron Rodgers' top target this season and has a fantasy friendly matchup in Tampa Bay.
Rodgers ready to play
Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Aaron Rodgers practiced on Friday and appears ready to start this weekend against the Buccaneers.
Our View: Rodgers had missed the previous to practices with a sprained foot that he suffered last Sunday. He remains a very strong start in Tampa Bay this weekend.

Rodgers out again Thursday
Aaron Rodgers sat out practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Our View: The team expects Rodgers to do some work on Friday, and he should be fine for Sunday's game. He has an excellent match-up against the Bucs this weekend, so fantasy owners should get him in the lineup.

Rodgers rests feet Wednesday
News: The Packers know they have to take care of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has a sprained foot and a sprained toe (on separate feet) after getting banged around vs. Minnesota last week. So the Packers appear to be making two precautions: They rested Rodgers on Wednesday, holding him out of practice, and also Packers coach Mike McCarthy hinted strongly that veterans Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher will start Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. Clifton hasn't played a full game since the opener because of a nagging right ankle injury, and Tauscher re-signed with the team last month after spending most of the year rehabbing from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament last December. The Packers have allowed a league-worst 31 sacks, including six in Sunday's loss to Minnesota. Head coach Mike McCarthy had this to say about Rodgers: "I would project he'll probably [practice] Friday. Tomorrow maybe limited and have him work Friday, but I fully anticipate him playing in the game." [...]

Rodgers held out of practice
According to Greg A. Bedard on Twitter, Aaron Rodgers was held out of Wednesday's practice.
Our View: Rodgers has been dealing with a sprained foot and sprained toe that he suffered against the Vikings on Sunday, so it's no surprise that he was held out of practice today. The rest should do him good, and he's not at all in jeopardy of missing a start in Week 9.

Rodgers Nursing Two Foot Injuries
Expected To Miss Practice Time This Week
Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says quarterback Aaron Rodgers might miss time in practice this week but is expected to play Sunday at Tampa Bay. Rodgers came out of Sunday's loss to Minnesota with a sprain on one foot and sprained toe on the other. (CP)
FF Today's Take: It's not surprising Rodgers is banged up. He's been sacked more times (31) than any other QB but has stayed upright enough to be one of the best fantasy QBs in the business. His 181 rushing yards is tops among Quarterbacks and his TD-to-INT ratio (14-2) is simply spectacular.
Rodgers, sacked six times, threw for only 38 yards in the first
Rodgers, sacked six times, threw for only 38 yards in the first half but finished with 287 and 3 TDs in the Packers' 38-26 home loss to Minnesota on Sunday.
Impacts: Brett Favre was again the story, but Rodgers put up fine statistics once again. He's the league's top-rated passer (110.4) despite being sacked 31 times this season. Rodgers has 14 touchdown passes and just two interceptions.
Rodgers has two minor sprains
Aaron Rodgers is dealing with both a sprained foot and sprained toe (on the other foot) in the wake of the Packers loss to the Vikings on Sunday, but should be good-to-go in Week 9 against the Buccaneers, according to ESPN.
Our View: Coach Mike McCarthy said on Monday that Rodgers could miss some practice this week, but that is all. Hopefully he can avoid further injury against the Bucs' woeful defense this weekend.

Rodgers gimpy after Week 8 loss
News: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out of Sunday's loss to the Vikings with a sprain on one foot and sprained toe on the other. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Rodgers could miss time in practice this week but is expected to play Sunday at Tampa Bay without hurting his mobility. Rodgers was limping after the game but said he expected to be OK after a few days. Rodgers completed 26 of 41 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns against Minnesota with 52 yards rushing. [...]

Rodgers seen limping
Aaron Rodgers was "limping severely" after his 26-of-41, 287 yard, three-touchdown performance against the Vikings on Sunday, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Our View: As we all know, many players are after any given game, and he should be considered good-to-go against the Bucs this weekend until otherwise noted by the Packers.
Brett Favre hopes his detractors understand now why he came back
NEW YORK -- I remember the first time Brett Favre mentioned the V word in the summer of 2008. Favre was officially retired but making noise about playing again. The Packers were on record as moving on with Aaron Rodgers, and now Favre wanted to play for the Vikings or Bears, with Minnesota his first choice because he knew their coaches and the offense well.
