Analysis: Nobody ever claimed that Haywood was the most agile scorer in the world. Still, on the season in six games he's averaging 11.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game and he has 10 blocks in his last five games. Haywood is playing well and worth using as a No. 2 Fantasy center, at least, in all leagues

Haywood grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds in the Wizards' 102-86 loss to the Pacers Friday, the Washington Post reports.

Spin: Haywood also added nine points, four blocks, and a steal in 35 minutes of action. Haywood is off to a very strong start to the season as through his first six games he is averaging 11.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.67 blocks per game. Analysis: Oberto is starting for the moment with Antawn Jamison out but will go back to the bench and minimal minutes once he returns. Oberto has low-end Fantasy value but is worth more at the moment than he will be shortly

Wizards head coach Flip Saunders plans on starting Oberto at power forward with Andray Blatche as the first big man reserve while Antawn Jamison is out, the Washington Post reports.

Spin: Though Oberto will be the starter, Andray Blatche will be the main beneficiary while Jamison is out as he will have the opportunity to get extended minutes off the bench. Blatche should be fantasy-worthy at least while Jamison is out so consider picking him up if your team needs some big-man help to start the season.Sat, Oct 24

Antawn Jamison unleashed a slew of profanities in a post-game locker room tirade that could be heard out in the hallway after Friday's lethargic loss to the Pacers. "Ain't nothing funny about this!," he said upon exiting the arena. Flip Saunders seemed to be in agreement over the lack of effort. "I thought our effort was poor. I was extremely disappointed," Saunders said. Gilbert Arenas took just 10 shots and scored 13 points. News: The Washington Times reports that Wizards F Antawn Jamison (shoulder) reported no problems after participating in noncontact drills Thursday for about 45 minutes at an optional practice before the Washington Wizards boarded a plane to Indiana for Friday's game against the Pacers. "I've been shooting and going hard. No limitations as far as shot numbers or range or anything of that nature," Jamison said afterward. "It's just no contact - they don't want me getting hit or pushing or shoving. But we haven't had any limitations as far as drills, running, shooting or anything like that."

Analysis: The report adds that while Jamison is antsy to get back, the Wizards are taking a careful approach with the All-Star forward and are sticking to the original timetable for his return of three to five weeks. Jamison partially dislocated his right shoulder in a preseason game against Cleveland on Oct. 14. Continue to monitor his progress

Antawn Jamison participated in contact drills and appears on schedule in his return from a partially dislocated shoulder. "Everything is going according to plan. No setbacks whatsoever." This is good news. Expect to see a Jamison return to putting up big numbers as soon as he reenters the lineup. He was expected to miss three to five weeks starting from Oct. 14, and the Wiz play the Pistons at home on Nov. 14. Wizards swingman Dominic McGuire worked on his mid-range game this offseason. He said he tried to focus on 3-pointers last season, but didn't feel comfortable -- which is very odd, considering he attempted four 3-pointers all season. Randy Foye didn't get the start we all expected on Friday, but hit a couple treys and finished with 16 points, four boards and two assists off the Wizards' bench. Crittenton's (foot) cast has been removed from his left ankle, allowing him to walk freely in a boot. However, the Wizards declined to pick up his fourth-year option, the Washington Post reports.

Spin: Crittenton's fourth-year option as a former first round pick was worth $2.28 million. He will become an unrestricted free agent next summer. As for the injury, Crittenton said he should be in the boot for another week or two and then begin working out again. After having foot surgery on Friday, and with this news, it would appear that his career is at a crossroads. News: Washington SG Nick Young earned his first start of the season on Friday night in a loss at Indiana. Young made his debut in the starting lineup in place of the injured Mike Miller. Many had thought it would be Randy Foye to start but Foye came off the bench as Young scores three points on 1 of 4 shooting over 15 minutes on the night. Young nailed one three and grabbed two boards with a block. Foye came off the bench for an extended 34 minutes and shot 6 of 14 from the field with two threes. He scored 16 points with four rebounds and two assists.

Analysis: Young got the starting nod on Friday but it is clear who the better option was for Fantasy owners. Foye was given an increase of minutes and scored in double figures for the first time in three games because of it. Foye is averaging 12.3 points, 2.5 boards and 3.0 assists per game on the season and that will likely rise over the coming weeks with Miller out. Young is not worth adding off waivers in most leagues but if Foye is available, he definitely is worth it
