Kevin Durant performed well in Friday's 105-94 loss at Houston, as he tallied 27 points, nine rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block.

Our View: Durant fell one board short of his third double-double, and reached at least 25 points for the fourth time over five games.

Kevin Durant says his increased emphasis on defense this season has left him exhausted on the offensive side of the ball toward the end of games, according to the Oklahoman.

Our View: He has been wearing down toward the end of games, and air-balled two crucial shots late in the Thunder's near victory over the Lakers on Tuesday. Don't expect it to be an issue for long, however, as Durant is showing again this season that he is quickly turning into one of the game's best players.

One explanation for Kevin Durant's recent offensive shooting woes has been his emphasis on improving his defensive intensity. Durant admitted that fatigue took it's toll towards the end of Tuesday night's overtime loss in which he shot 0-of-5 in the final periods. "It’s new to me," Durant said. News: Thunder C Nick Collison did not score a point for the second straight game Tuesday against the Lakers. He has scored just 10 points with 14 combined rebounds in four games.

Analysis: Collison is getting just around 16 minutes per game early on this season and is not a factor at all in the offense. The presence of Nenad Krstic and Etan Thomas could be more of a negative factor than anticipated and Collison is a player you could consider cutting if you need to make a move. Expect him to be on and off rosters all season

Analysis: Collison averaged 8.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season and will push Nenad Krstic at center this season. He'll be the kind of player in Fantasy who's on and off the waiver wire all year

Ibaka had 12 points (6-of-10 FG, 0-of-1 FT), nine rebounds, and two blocks in 26 minutes against the Hornets Saturday.

Spin: Ibaka isn't likely to see many minutes in the early part of the season, but his ability to rebound and block shots could help fantasy teams later in the year. Now that Earl Watson is out of the picture, Shaun Livingston is expecting to play a bigger role for the Thunder this season. As long as he shows he is healthy, Livingston will be the primary backup to young stud Russell Westbrook. He says he's almost completely over his left knee injury and played in eight of 10 games at the Orlando and Las Vegas summer leagues.

News: Livingston has been cleared by team doctors to play without a knee brace on his left leg, according to the Oklahoman.

Spin: "I feel less restricted, and I'm going out there and feeling like I have a little bit better bounce than playing with that brace," Livingston said. He is playing with a sleeve, but it appears that he's nearing a full recovery from the knee injury that nearly ended his career.
