Yi Jianlian said he expects to be out about 4 weeks - until late November - but left open the possibility of returning sooner, or later, than that. "They say maybe four weeks, but we have to see how it's going. Maybe earlier," Yi said Wednesday morning. News: The Nets have exercised contract options on starters Courtney Lee, Brook Lopez and Yi Jianlian for the 2010-11 seasons. The Nets on Thursday also declined to exercise the fourth-year contract option on forward Sean Williams, the team's first-round draft pick in 2007 and the 17th pick overall. The options that the Nets picked up on Lopez and Lee were for their third seasons. Lopez will earn $2.41 million, while Lee will get $1.34 million. The option on Yi is for his fourth season and it will earn him just over $4 million. Williams would have earned $2.5 million had the team pick up his fourth-year option.

Analysis: Williams is not a relevant Fantasy player and should not be owned in any Fantasy format

Williams has played only six minutes in the past four preseason games.

Spin: Despite the Nets not having much depth in the frontcourt, it doesn't appear like Williams will play a significant role this season. News: The Newark Star-Ledger reports that Devin Harris said Thursday that he could be looking at two more weeks of rest and recovery before he's ready to take the court again. "It could take four weeks to heal," Harris said. "If I come back in two weeks and I still feel it, I’m going to take the next two weeks. I’m hoping to be back in two weeks. That's what I'm hoping for.

Analysis: Harris was always less optimistic about this injury than his team appeared to be and now the player is telling you that he could be at least two weeks away from returning. Since he's the one that is injured, we'd take him at his word. Fantasy owners have no choice but to keep him stashed away. Rafer Alston will continue to start in his place

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Nets' point guard Devin Harris could miss up to another month due to his groin injury. Harris said he will miss at least two more weeks with the injury.

Our View: Harris will be evaluated after two weeks, and if he is not 100 percent he said he will sit out another two weeks. This is starting to become a very frustrating situation for fantasy owners, but hang tight and he will be worth it when he gets healthy.
