Our View: Bynum didn't get treatment on the ankle last night because the injury was minor, but he was extremely sore this morning. He should be fine for Sunday's game, but fantasy owners will still want to keep tabs on him over the weekend.

News: The Los Angeles Times reports that Andrew Bynum suffered a jammed right ankle in Thursday's game against the Bulls. He is considered day to day, but expects to play in the team's next game Sunday against Oklahoma City.

Analysis: Bynum had 11 points and 8 rebounds in just 24 minutes Thursday and did not seem to be overly affected by the return of Pau Gasol. However, Gasol's return should have an impact on his overall numbers as it's unlikely he will be able to maintain his current averages of 19.4 points and 11.4 rebounds. He remains a No. 1 center, but temper expectations. The injury does not appear to be much of a concern at this point

Kobe scored 21, and in the process passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the 2nd leading scorer in franchise history. Pau Gasol returned to action against the Bulls on Thursday, scoring 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting with 13 rebounds, three assists, and one block. Gasol came out firing with 10 points in the first quarter alone, and lasted to play 35 minutes. He didn't appear to be hampered by his hamstring, even if he did appear winded at times. Owners should watch to see if he experienced any setbacks, but at this point he should be in lineups going forward.

Gasol was back in the starting line-up for the Lakers Thursday night after having missed the firs 11 games (hamstring).

Luke Walton underwent a procedure called a "facet rhizotomy" on Wednesday to relieve pain associated with a pinched nerve in his back, and is expected to be out for six weeks. The procedure attempts to turn off signals sent from the injured portion of the back to the brain, and the relief can last anywhere from months to years. Analysis: Fisher starts for the Lakers, but Kobe Bryant gets all the numbers out of the backcourt. Fisher is nothing more than a veteran caretaker and not worth using outside of the deepest of Fantasy leagues

Shannon Brown got 28 minutes of run off the bench on his way to 20 points, four assists, one steal, and two blocks on Sunday. Most of the Lakers starters either didn't play, or gave way to the second unit quickly, and Brown was there to take advantage. It's possible that he passes Jordan Farmar on his way to fantasy relevance, but even in a best-case scenario it seems unlikely he can help your team, unless you play in a 30-team league like Dr. A.

With Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol out on Saturday, guard Shannon Brown got a rare start for the Lakers. He was 0-for-6 and finished with just three points, and while he's an exciting role player for the Lakers, he won't be worth owning this year.

Maria Sharapova, the tennis star, was recently spotted at a U2 concert with Sasha Vujacic of the Lakers. (Vujacic was once was “involved” with Paris Hilton.) A couple people tweeted it. The story made its away around the web faster than a Sharapova serve. Vujacic was asked about the budding romance last night in Oklahoma

Sasha Vujacic hit 5-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 18 points, three boards, three assists and four steals in a loss to the Nuggets. The Lakers sat many starters for much of this one, including Kobe Bryant, so don't read too much into this line. He's a good source of threes, but not much else.

Vujacic dropped in ten points on 4-of-5 shooting, including one three pointer, on Thursday against Sacramento.
