News: Wallace is available in 81 percent of CBSSports.com leagues, but that may change real soon. Going into his next game at Orlando, he was one more start away from regaining center eligibility in leagues that allow multiple positions after making the first four starts of the season at center for the Pistons.

Analysis: A return to Detroit has rejuvenated Big Ben early on as he averaged 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals through four games. He could actually be plugged in at center in those leagues that do allow for multiple position eligibility for Week 3 if he gets the fifth start this weekend as we expect

Our View: Prince has missed a few games already with the injury, but an MRI confirmed the rupture over the weekend. Fantasy owners need to prepare to be without for the near future, and we will update his status when more info becomes available.

The Pistons backcourt is getting interesting, as Bynum is averaging 18 ppg in his last two games, while Ben Gordon scored 30 tonight, and Rodney Stuckey added a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Our View: Bynum has been very good over the last few games, and he could be worth a look for those in deeper leagues. He is averaging double-digit scoring numbers, but he doesn't contribute much in other categories.

Analysis: Bynum has scored in double figures in three straight games, so he's looking like a consistent contributor off the bench. Then again, those three games happen to be the same three Richard Hamilton has missed due to injury. You're better off leaving Bynum on waivers in Fantasy, but he obviously has some potential

Rip Hamilton will miss his sixth straight game on Sunday with a badly sprained right ankle. He said before Friday night's loss at Orlando that he wasn't close to returning. If you're in a weekly (or daily) league, get him out of your lineup until further notice. The Pistons play at 1 p.m. on Sunday, and were 4-12 in those early Sunday games last season.

News: Detrit G Richard Hamilton was not active on Thursday against the Magic as expected. He missed five straight games and is considered questionable for Sunday against the Sixers.

Our View: There are plenty of teams worse than the Pistons who could probably use a nice defensive forward on their bench, so Washington could very well appear in an NBA game at some point in the future.

Washington was waived by the Pistons on Monday, the Detroit News reports.

Spin: Washington was a 2nd round pick in the 2008 draft. He played overseas for a year before returning to the Pistons under the belief that he would serve as an end-of-the-bench backup to Rip Hamilton. The move leaves the Pistons with 14 men on their roster going into the season.Mon, Oct 26

The Pistons waived swingman Deron Washington on Monday, cutting their roster to 14 players. Washington was selected with the 59th pick in last year's draft, but never made an impact with the Pistons. He is a quality defender who may very well resurface with another NBA team.
