According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Cavaliers may look to trade center Zydrunas Ilgauskas at some point next season. Ilgauskas has an expiring $11.5 million contract, and there are several teams who will be looking for a salary dump going into the much anticipated free agent summer of 2010.
Our View: With the Big Diesel in the fold now, Big Z will become expendable as long as Shaq stays healthy. The article makes a good point concerning the expiring contract, and it would make sense that a bunch of teams would like to trade for Z to help them down the stretch and to dump his expiring contract. Don't be shocked if a move is made at some point in the next few months.
