The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Magic guard Vince Carter is day-to-day with an ankle injury. Carter suffered the injury in the second quarter of Friday night's win over the Nets.
Our View: X-rays on the ankle came back negative, so the team doesn't feel this injury is very serious at all. It is always a concern when a playe rlike Carter goes down, but fantasy owners should be able to utilize Vinsanity the next time out.

News: Orlando's Vince Carter sprained his left ankle in the second quarter against the Nets on Friday and left the game. Carter scored 16 points before leaving the game against his former teammates in the second quarter, but Howard more than made up for his absence with 20 points, 22 rebounds and four blocks in a 95-85 victory Friday night. Carter was hurt with about 3:05 left in the quarter when he stepped on the foot of former Nets teammate Devin Harris as he dribbled near the top of the key. The 11-year veteran, who was acquired from New Jersey in the offseason, immediately fell to the floor and clutched his ankle. Play was not stopped until Yi Jianlian scored a layup for the Nets at the other end of the floor and the Magic brought the ball back into the frontcourt. Carter lay on the court for about a minute before limping to the Magic bench. He was briefly treated and then went back to the Orlando locker room. Carter spent the second half in the trainers' room and had his ankle wrapped. X-rays were negative. [...]
