Utah Jazz guard Ronnie Price will nt need surgery on his sprained toe, according to the Deseret News. There has still been no timetable set for his return to the court.
Our View: Price had two MRI on his toe, and the doctors don't feel like surgery is necessary. It's good news for Price and the Jazz, but he is still expected to miss some time with the injury.

Ronnie Price will not have surgery on his injured toe, and there is still no timetable for his return. The Jazz are calling the injury a sprain, but haven't offered any explanation as to why surgery would even be considered for such an ailment. Whatever the case is, Price has fallen behind rookie Eric Maynor in the pecking order at backup PG, and has no fantasy value.
