It appeared that Wallace would face a one-game suspension because he picked up two technical fouls in Wednesday night's 90-87 loss to the New Orleans Hornets. NBA rules dictate that a player must be sidelined for a game when he reaches 16 technical fouls. However, technicals Wallace received Dec. 23 and Feb. 7 were rescinded, NBA vice president of basketball communications Tim Frank said in an e-mail Thursday to The Associated Press. It appeared that Wallace would face a one-game suspension because he picked up two technical fouls in Wednesday night's 90-87 loss to the New Orleans Hornets, giving him 16 for the season. However, the NBA announced Thursday that technicals Wallace received Dec. 23 and Feb. 7 were rescinded, leaving him with 14. Wallace is averaging 9.5 points on 37.3 percent shooting over his last six games, and his struggles are a big reason the Pistons have lost eight in a row.

Therefore, he can still receive one more T free of charge and should play on Friday, unless he's suspended for throwing a towel in referee Bill Kennedy's direction as he left the court Wednesday.
