News: Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said F Mike Dunleavy has been cleared to return from his troublesome right knee, but it's uncertain if he'll make his season debut this week. According to the Twitter page of Pacers' beat writer Mike Wells, no timetable has been set for Mike Dunleavy's return to the lineup. The team originally said that Dunleavy was scheduled to return this week from knee surgery.
Our View: Dunleavy wants to make sure he is in top physical shape before he returns, so he doesn't want to rush the process. He is coming off a serious knee operation, but it looks like he should be able to return before too long.

Status: Sidelined. Targeting November return
Contrary to a report that he would make his season debut on Wednesday, the Pacers have now backpedaled saying that there is no timetable for his return. Dunleavy says he wants to be in the best possible game shape before playing, but one can't help but think it has to do with a setback, or because the suddenly crowded rotation needs room to breathe. We would still pick him up if he's on the waiver wire, but with just a bit more caution.
