The Rocky Mountain News reports that the Nuggets' deal to sign Linas Kleiza to a contract extension has fallen apart and he will become a restricted free agent next summer.The Nuggets are well over the cap this season, but with Allen Iverson coming off of the books next summer, they should have enough money to match a deal for Kleiza. This season, he does not figure to hold enough fantasy value to warrant a roster spot in fantasy leagues.

Update: Kleiza will once again start in place of suspended SF Carmelo Anthony despite struggling in the season opener, the Denver Post reports.
Analysis: Kleiza made just one field goal in eight attempts against the Jazz on Wednesday. Head coach George Karl said he would probably try and get Kleiza into the offensive flow earlier which will either lead to a big night or an early exit.
