The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Kevin Love returned to practice on Sunday after having successful surgery on his non-shooting hand.

Our View: Love was originally estimated to be out 6-8 weeks, but has progressed quickly. He will have a follow-up X-ray in a little over three weeks to see if he's cleared to play early. The double-double machine will slide in fantasy drafts, but may be worth a mid-round pick if you don't mind waiting a few weeks for his return. Ryan Gomes will play in his stead in the meantime.

Our View: Love's injury is going to hurt the T-Wolves significantly, as he is expected to be out for at least six weeks. This will obviously hurt his fantasy value, but if other owners give up on him, he could be a nice value for those willing to wait.

An X-Ray revealed that Kevin Love's broken hand is progressing, but he's still about two weeks from practicing and three weeks from playing in a game. Love did some outside shooting Friday, and though he says he feels almost no pain in his hand, he is unable to do anything physical. If he returns Dec. 11 against the Lakers, that would put him right in the 6-to-8 week recovery time originally reported when he broke his hand Oct. 16.
