News: The Los Angeles Daily News reports Lakers guard Jordan Farmar will have surgery on Wednesday to repair the torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. Farmar was injured in Friday's loss to the Miami Heat. He flew home in the middle of the Lakers four-game road trip on Sunday. Jordan Farmar has decided to undergo surgery on his torn meniscus and could miss up to eight weeks, according to ESPN. Coach Phil Jackson said that the club was contemplating acquiring another guard with speed and quickness to help fill the hole while Farmar's out.Farmar only plays about 20 minutes per game, so his absence will affect the Lakers far more than it will fantasy owners.
