John Salmons Re-Ups With the Bucks, Might Lose Value
It's never too early to start talking about fantasy basketball. I know the dust has yet to settle on the Summer of LeBron, but while we await the King's decision what we can do is start to talk about the fantasy impact of players who have already agreed to terms.
One of the early moves to transpire this summer was the re-upping of John Salmons by the Milwaukee Bucks to a 5-year, $39 million contract.
Salmons played in 30 games with the Bucks last season, after starting the year in Chicago and on pace to be among the biggest busts in fantasy basketball. As a Buck he averaged 19.9 points, 1.5 threes, 3.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals and a career-best 4.6 free throws made. He joined the party late, but at least he didn't eat any of the spinach dip.
