News: The Sports Xchange reports that Bulls C Jerome James (torn right Achilles) hasn't played since early last season when he was with the Knicks. No one is counting any contributions from him, but he's vowed to get healthy and play sometime this season. It will probably be at least late November before he's ready to practice. [...]

Status: Sidelined. Career likely over
Bulls backup center Jerome James (Achilles) shot around on Saturday and hopes to be ready to play in a couple of months. A conservative prediction: Jerome James will not play in an NBA game this season. Even when healthy James wouldn't add anything valuable to the Bulls young frontcourt.
