Knicks center Eddy Curry was not thrilled that he found out he would not be a part of the team's rotation thorough the media instead of head coach Mike D'Antoni, according to the New York Post. "I haven't talked to him and I'm here every day. All he has to do is tell me and let me know what's up," Curry said.Curry is not a fit with D'Antoni's scheme, so it is no surprise that his minutes will be shortened considerably. A trade is possible, but unlikely seeing that Curry has a pricey long-term deal.

Analysis: The 25-year-old Curry has started 208 games since joining the Knicks in a blockbuster trade prior to the 2005-06 campaign, but will not be part of D'Antoni's eight or nine-man rotation. Curry played sparingly this preseason after missing all of training camp due to a bacterial infection, but averaged 13.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 59 games last season. Curry was surprised by the announcement from D'Antoni, and thinks he can still contribute to the Knicks. However, his 285-pound frame isn't really built for D'Antoni's system.
