Update: Williams continued to increase his minutes played (29) and posted another double-double Saturday night in Utah's loss to New Jersey. He scored 10 points, dished 13 assists, grabbed four rebounds and also made two steals.
Analysis: Williams is continuing to increase his playing time each game. There was a concern before the game about playing back-to-back but the concern appears to have been without merit. He is not yet scoring like his former self but has been playing well and will most likely be scoring 20 points per game sooner rather than later. Continue to start him in any league.

Update: Williams returned to the Jazz line-up Wednesday night against Memphis and the entire offense benefitted greatly. He played just under 30 minutes and although did not post a high scoring total (11 points) for himself he was able to dish 15 assists to teammates.
Analysis: Williams returned after missing 13 games and 5 1/2 weeks with a sprained left ankle. The Salt Lake Tribune reported that his ankle was still visibly swollen in the locker room before the game. To keep it from stiffening, he hopped in the tunnel behind the Jazz bench and kept a heating pad on the ankle at other times. He has not yet decided on playing in both of the Jazz's back-to-back games this upcoming Friday and Saturday.
