DeMarcus Nelson has been waived by the Chicago Bulls, according to the Miami Herald. Nelson did not appear in a game for the Bulls last season.
Our View: Nelson was a star at Duke and was a starter for Golden State at the beginning of last season, but he played in only 13 games with the Warriors before being waived. He should get another chance in the league before long, but he doesn't figure to make a fantasy impact any time soon.

Bulls waive F Johnson III, G Nelson (AP)
The Chicago Bulls have waived forward Linton Johnson III and guard DeMarcus Nelson. In his second stint with the Bulls, Johnson played in eight games and averaged 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds. He was signed to two 10-day contracts in March before getting a deal for the remainder of the season on April 7.
