Update: Lee played 33 minutes against the Cavaliers Tuesday night and notched 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting with 13 rebounds and an assist.

Analysis: Lee has been disappointing offensively this year, but since his insertion into the starting lineup, he's done a good job on the boards. He should receive more playing time than he did when Zach Randolph was around, but Al Harrington will compete for minutes, as well as Jared Jeffries and Tim Thomas, a Mike D'Antoni favorite from Phoenix.

Update: Lee started at center Friday night in New York's loss to Milwaukee.

Analysis: On the day the Knicks cleaned house, trading Zach Randolph, Jamal Crawford and Mardy Collins, coach Mike D'Antoni was limited to nine healthy bodies. The Knicks added big men Tim Thomas and Al Harrington, but the need to work the new players in the rotation means Lee will probably get extended minutes and possibly a full-time starting role going forward. He had 13 points and 12 rebounds in 39 minutes Friday. The Knicks are right back in action Saturday night against the Wizards. It's not known if the new guys will be available for the game, so it looks like Lee should get big minutes again.
