Update: Atkins (knee) is doing limited shooting and movement
Update: Atkins (knee) is doing limited shooting and movement drills on his surgically repaired right knee but hasn't gone through any hard workouts yet, the Denver Post reports.
Analysis: Head coach George Karl said he think Atkins is still two weeks away from seeing any court time. "I would think it's at least two weeks from here," said Karl. "Four or five days where he's working hard by himself, and then another week with the team." Until he returns Anthony Carter will remain the club's lone PG but Allen Iverson still rules the rock in the Nugget's backcourt which limits Carter's ability to post high assist numbers on a regular basis.
