Our View: Thornton has done a nice job scoring when given a chance this season, and the team needs him to continue to step up with Chris Paul out. He shot the ball well tonight, and he is capable of putting up solid numbers when his shot is dropping.

Bad news out of New Orleans, as NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Hornets' point guard Chris Paul will miss more time with his sprained ankle that originally expected. Paul is now expected to be on crutches for two weeks, and he isn't expected to return for three-to-four weeks.
Our View: The original diagnosis was one-to-two weeks, but the injury was found to be worse than expected. This is terrible news for fantasy owners, who will be without their first pick for close to a month. Don't be shocked if Paul comes back closer to three weeks, as he is a tough guy who loves to play the game.

Brilliant Hornets point guard Chris Paul is feuding with Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Our View: Rondo was apparently taunting Paul all game Sunday when the two teams squared off. Among his supposed taunts were, "I've got a ring, and you're never gonna win one." He also reportedly told Paul that he wishes he were him. The taunts are no doubt rich coming from Rondo, who has the benefit of one the greatest "supporting" casts ever assembled, but they got to Paul nevertheless, as he reportedly went down the Celtics tunnel at the end of the game to confront Rondo. While the Celtics' prospects this season are clearly better than New Orleans', it is likely very unwise to irk a man of Paul's ability and ferocity.

Paul Pierce scored 27 points and the Boston Celtics improved to 4-0 with a 97-87 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Sunday night. Chris Paul scored 22 points with eight assists for New Orleans, and then had to be held back after the game when he tried to follow the Celtics off the court to their locker room.

Status: Sidelined. Out indefinitely
Chris Paul (sprained ankle) remains out indefinitely but he is no longer wearing an immobilizing boot. Paul's absence can still probably be measured in weeks, though so far the Hornets haven't offered an official timetable. Darren Collison and Marcus Thornton are both decent starts while CP3 is out.
