The Denver Post is reporting that Chris Andersen would like to return to the Nuggets next season. Andersen is a free agent, but he told the paper he wants to stay in Denver with a multi-year deal.
Our View: Birdman is probably the Nuggets' top priority this offseason, so it bodes well for the team that he wants to return. He came fairly cheap last season, but it will probably take a multi-year deal worth the mid-level exception of $5.585 million. Look for him to be back in Denver next season, but don't be surprised if the Nuggets can't afford him.

Status: Sidelined. Day-to-day
Chris Andersen underwent an MRI on his right knee which revealed no structural damage. Birdman is being listed as day-to-day for now with patella tendinitis, and should only be a consideration in deeper fantasy leagues at the moment.
