Update: Haywood could miss the entire regular season while recovering
Update: Haywood could miss the entire regular season while recovering from surgery Thursday to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Haywood won't even begin rehab for 2 1/2 months while his wrist is in a cast. According to the team, the earliest possible return is four months, which would mean sometime in late February. In the meantime, expect Etan Thomas to earn a majority of the minutes in Haywood's place, with Andray Blatche also contributing.
