Blake Griffin is progressing in his recovery from a strained right shoulder, according to the Los Angeles Times. He has resumed shooting, but remains restricted from contact.
Our View: The prized rookie noted that everything is moving forward, and possibly even ahead of schedule. He is expected to be ready to go for training camp, and the Clippers are confident he will make an impact this season despite missing practice time with the injury.

Status: Sidelined. Targeting mid-December return
Clippers rookie Blake Griffin (knee) hasn't done any weight-bearing physical activities, and he isn't expected to have another MRI until the end of November. "A lot of people have been positive and telling me to just wait it out, don’t rush, don’t do anything that will further delay the process," Griffin said. He is hoping to return sometime in mid-December.
