The Denver Nuggets acquired Arron Afflalo and Walter Sharpe from Detroit on Monday in exchange for a future second-round draft pick. The Nuggets also received cash in the deal. The Pistons freed up close to $1.8 million in salary cap space. Afflalo averaged 4.9 points in 74 games last season. The former UCLA star scored a career-high 24 at Houston on March 18.

Walter Sharpe has been traded to the Denver Nuggets, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Our View: He was sent to Denver along with Arron Afflalo. Sharpe played only eight games as a rookie for the Pistons in 2008-09, and will not be a meaningful contributor for the Nuggets this season. He is not worth owning in any format, and it is unclear if he will even make the team in Denver.

As many suspected he would be, Arron Afflalo has been traded to the Denver Nuggets, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Our View: Along with Afflalo, the Pistons also sent Walter Sharpe. They will get a future second round draft pick in exchange. The move is primarily a cap clearer for the Pistons, though Afflalo could take on a bigger role in Denver than he did in Detroit if the Nuggets fail to keep Linas Kleiza. For the time being, though, Affalo and his lifetime 4.3 points per game are not worth owning in any format.
