With Micah Owings' latest debacle and Yusmeiro Petit showing well again in relief, we could see Petit take Owings' spot in the rotation, according to the East Valley Tribune. Manager Bob Melvin said there's "no question" Petit is making a case to start.Petit boasts a 2.55 ERA and 0.85 WHIP on the year. He's allowed just two runs over his 11 innings as a starter. Mixed leaguers should look his way if he officially gets the nod in place of Owings this weekend in LA.
