The veteran knuckleballer is kind of a fringe-y fantasy play even under the best of circumstances, but his struggles with injury during the second half negated what was shaping up to be one of Wakefield's best seasons. After being chosen for his first All-Star Game and running up an 11-3 record over the first half, Wakefield threw just 21 innings after the All-Star break and posted a 6.00 ERA during that stretch.
