According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Brewers have called up right-hander Tim Dillard from Triple-A.
Our View: Dillard replaces Seth McClung, who landed on the DL on Saturday, and will likely start Tuesday's game. Dillard was 10-4 with a 3.66 ERA in the Pacific Coast League and has solid stuff. He could be a nice grab in NL-only leagues.

According to the Boston Globe, the Brewers have placed reliever Seth McClung on the 15-day disabled list with discomfort in his surgically repaired pitching elbow.
Our View: The Brewers are calling the injury a sprain and currently have no timetable for McClung's return. This doesn't sound promising, so don't expect him back any time soon. He's waiting on the results of an MRI he underwent Saturday.

McClung underwent Tommy John surgery in 2003 but was hesitant to speculate about the severity of the injury after feeling a "weird" sensation in his elbow on Friday night. McClung has a 5.03 ERA in 36 relief appearances and two starts this season. With McClung sidelined, deposed starter Mike Burns took over long relief duties on Saturday. Tim Dillard will be recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday and likely take Burns' turn in the rotation on Tuesday against Washington. A reliever in 2007 and '08, Dillard is 10-4 with a 3.66 ERA in 19 starts this season for Nashville.

Milwaukee Brewers RP Seth McClung (elbow) left the game against the Atlanta Braves Friday, July 24, after feeling something "weird" in his elbow after throwing a changeup in the ninth inning, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He said it was premature to link the problem to reconstructive elbow surgery he underwent in 2003.
