Just another quality start for Baker, who has three in a row. He has allowed just one home run in his last five starts despite a 35-to-47 ground ball-to-fly ball ratio in that time. He could be getting away with some luck, so don't be surprised if he gives up a long ball on Sept. 6 at home against the powerful Tigers.

Scott Baker finally picked up his eighth win. The right-hander held the A's to six hits and one run over six innings on Sunday. He improved to 8-4. Baker posted a 0-1 record over his last six outings.Baker had a couple rough starts this August, but he has now posted three straight quality appearances. He remains a solid middle-of-the-rotation starter in mixed fantasy leagues despite the lack of victories.
